Overview

We'll discover the wine producers of the famous wine region of El Penedés, while driving my vintage Mehari, an antique convertible car from 1976.

I'll drive you to the most beautiful vineyards and family wineries of the region, where you'll meet the winegrowers and the family members of the cellars. A member of the family will explain the process of the wine and cava (champagne not from France) making.

We will visit two old wineries in the countryside and taste some premium wines or cavas with a snack at each winery.

While we're in the car, among the historical vineyards, I'll share the secrets, curiosities and peculiarities of the region with you.

Afterwards, we'll have time to chill in a grass area among the vineyards and old trees. I'll prepare a picnic of local products and other wines/cavas of the region (number of cups of cava/wine unlimited during the meal).

In winter, lunch will be inside a winery or in my garage bar.

The meal is always at the end of the tour.

Drinks: Tastings of premium wines/cavas from 3 different wineries: We visit 3 wineries and you taste wine/cava from another winery during the meal

Food: Meal- local products. Snacks, salad according to the season, Spanish omelette, quiche, tuna or chicken cake, cold meat, cheeses, bread and biscuits

For people under 18 years old coke/water/juice will be available

Sensational experience amongst vineyards

It is not just a route amongst vineyards, it is an incredible experience for all wine lovers or those who want to be initiated into the wine culture!
The ride through the vineyards in a Mehari is a great way to see and feel the region and getting to know family-run wineries first hand and tasting their wines is a luxury.
And the cherry on the cake is Neus, the creator and hostess of the experience. Charming and with a lot of experience and knowledge about wine, she made us enjoy every moment of the experience.
I highly recommend this experience. Do not miss it!

I cannot recommend this tour more. Neus is amazing, from start to finish she made our experience so intimate and special. From the wonderful cars we drove to the vineyards in to the incredible meal she prepared for us. It made our visit to Barcelona one to remember.

An amazing, once in a lifetime experience! Neus was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. It was an extra treat being in an open-air, vintage Citroen while driving through beautiful scenery. The winery operators were gracious and very informative. The tour ended with a delicious lunch prepared by Neus. Must do!

Fun, Unique and Educational Wine Experience

My aunt booked this as a birthday surprise for me while we were visiting Barcelona. It was such a fun day. We did not take the train and instead paid a little extra and Neus picked us up and dropped us off in Barcelona. Upon arrival after everyone in our group arrived we set out in our colorful, unique cars for a fun day of driving around the Cava region. Neus is so friendly and really enjoys what she does. The weather was calling for rain so we didn't do much outside, other than the driving. We visited 3 wineries, had wonderful tastings and tours and met so many friendly people. I would highly suggest this tour experience if you enjoy wine and learning about how they produce Cava. It was really informative yet fun. I can't say enough nice things about Neus. And this is not a far trip outside of Barcelona.

An amazing experience! Neus was knowledgeable on wines and the local region. She was very organized, spoke great English and even helped us navigate the train. Loved that we were able to support smaller family run wineries and Cava makers. The picnic was a lovely touch!!
