Overview

Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience. Our artisan ceramics workshop is accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The opportunity to try your hand at this craft tradition will create a unique and memorable experience. The workshop includes sharing pottery decoration techniques and fun. You will make a ceramic planter. Make your own flower pot.

Wendy and her husband Eric are the founders of Taller Gingell. Reviewed as "a new generation of exceptional artisans"⁠ and highlighted as "artisan projects you should know in the fashion world"⁠⁠ according to Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveller, ⁠RTVE Radio Spanish National TV and Radio⁠ and others.

Wendy’s exhibited her work in Europe and North America, including at the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum and the American Craft Council craft shows. Her work is part of permanent museums and private collections in North America and Europe.

Wendy and Eric have been great host and teachers. I was skeptical in my abilities to create something, but they really helped me during the entire process.
We also had a lot of fun and laughed a lot.

What a unique experience! Wendy and Eric were so gracious with their time and really made sure each person in our group achieved what they were aiming for in their finished product. I'd highly recommend this amazing experience for solo or couple travelers and groups of friends -- They also have an amazing space with additional ceramics for purchase!

Wendy and Eric were by far the kindest and most welcoming people we met during our trip. As soon as we arrived, we felt less like visitors and more like friends - tea, jokes, fun conversation all made this experience so valuable. The clay-forming class itself was so much fun! Wendy was so incredibly patient and thoughtful…she gave us the basics and then let our artistic sides take over - which we totally appreciated. We made our own piece, and they offered shipping for us as well once it’s ready.

I can’t recommend this experience enough. The art was incredible, but their warm and kind personalities are what made this an elite experience.
