Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Fantastic full day tour of Barcelona with Alan and City Unscripted

Our guide - Alan - was AMAZING! We spent a very full and engaging 8 hours with him seeing the sights of Barcelona. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Spain, Catalonia, ,and Barcelona and did a great job bringing history to life. It was wonderful to get a local's perspective on the city and on Spain. He spoke great English, was friendly, and a lot of fun. We happened to run into him the following day when he was giving another couple a tour and felt as though we had run into an old friend. We had the best time and would definitely recommend him and City Unscripted.

Alan was an amazing guide in Barcelona. He tailored the tour to our interests and it felt very personalized. He was very knowledgable about the city and all the sites. We mentioned we would like to use public transportation and he was able to quickly navigate us through the trains and buses so we got places very quickly. He took us to an amazing coffee place and a very cool artsy neighborhood---our favorite part of the tour. He answered all our strange questions and kept us entertained the entire day. Would highly suggest you request him as your Barcelona guide.

The Barcelona City personal tour with Ivanna was unforgettable! She was the best part! She is a very spontaneous and creative person. We all clicked immediately. I love using City Unscripted for a private tour when I travel to Europe and Alan was absolutely fantastic! He customized the itinerary based on what I wanted to do (and got tickets for us in advance so we could go up the tower at the Sagrada). It was so nice not to have to think about where I was going and just followed him around the whole day.

Alan is very personable and easy to talk to (as evident by him making conversations with the taxi drivers and hotel bellhop) and most importantly, he is an amazing photographer so definitely a plus for a personal tour guide that can take you around and take amazing pictures!

Definitely highly recommend Alan (and I appreciate that he came prepared with a Gaudi book in case there are hard questions haha!)

We met with our tour guide Ivanna,
We met in olde Town Barcelona for a tapas tour. With out her knowledge we would have been lost.
The food offerings we terrific, I especially loved the octopus, absolutely delicious. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. We became quick friends. After she walked us to a haunted house I went in my husband waited outside. I went in with a group of people who didn’t speak English, it was a total hoot!! My favorite thing I did on surprise in Barcelona!
